I had a lovely experience here! Cafe de olla was rich and flavorful and the chilaquiles were excellent. Really nice and attentive staff even during a sunday brunch rush. very generous portions too, a great value for sure. I sat outside and it was a sweet vibe. I can't wait to come back and try the mole chilaquiles next time!

On a rainy morning , I had their breakfast burrito. Added sausage. They wrapped it with a soft savory light tortilla with potatoes & avocado inside and it was exactly what I needed, light but filling enough . Good way to start a day! Service as usual is admirable !

The food scene in Eagle rock has changed tremendously in the past decade! When we arrived, this place was packed, but luckily, we got seated quickly outdoors with their sidewalk seating. The table was a bit small, but we managed. My husband had the Farmers Market Waffles, which he devoured. There was a ton of fruit on them! I had the Chilaquiles with Barbacoa and Verdes sauce. Chilaquiles is one of my go to's, but I'm typically disappointed. Not at Lola Cafe! They had one of the best Chilaquiles I've ever had! The tortilla strips kept their crunch and they were on a bed of yummy black beans. With the Barbacoa and over easy egg, it was over the top for me! So tasty! Next time we're in town, I told my sister-in-law we're taking her here, because I know she will love the Chilaquiles as much as I did! And, there's so much more on the menu that I would love to try! Lola Cafe did not disappoint!

This was a place that wanted to head to for a long time. Until I finally took the time, the day to get up to the doorstop and saw a bustling number of people lined up and out the door. Thought to myself, well I'm only one person so I might not wait long. I'm the type of person who often goes to brunch late now to beat the crowds. It's become one of my favorite getaways for brunch on a weekend. Having chicken enchiladas with mole and a hot sipping experience with a traditional taste on cafe de olla. If you're coming in hungry just remember the extra cost and your wallet ready, but I'd say it's worth the bucks. The burritos are great for a pick me up and takeaway for eating at home too! Plenty of regulars come in throughout the week, and the staff are great at handling good customer service on what you need. It's definitely a place of peace and tranquility if you're looking for somewhere to just sit and enjoy the cars passing by on Colorado. But again, I'm just an old man soloing new adventures on where cafe hop and find brimming diners. What more could I know? That discovery is out there and life is short.

Stoped by to get coffee while in the area. I walked in to the smell of delicious food. I wish I had time to stay and eat here. But will definitely come back to try the food. Everything on the menu sounded good and there were a lot of people eating here on a Thursday morning. I got iced expresso with caramel drizzle. Sooo good. Loved every sip .. Customer service was welcoming and helpful. Lots of smiles all around. Love a warm place like this. Will be back.

Delightful and delicious. Cute, small little spot on Colorado Boulevard in Eagle rock. Wonderful, diverse menu with lots of enticing goodies. I ordered the bacon and avocado omelette, which was packed with spinach and tomatoes, was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Excellent homemade salsas. Fresh fruit salad that tasted like the fruit - not added sugars!! GREAT COFFEES!!! Everyone who works there is absolutely lovely! Highly recommend!!!

Let me begin with how sweet the staff and owners are. I always have an amazing experience when at the restaurant. Although this is not my first time at the restaurant. I had to leave my review about the food I had for brunch. I had the breakfast burrito adding barbacoa. It was tender and very flavorful too. It comes with two salsas red and green. The red is habanero and the green is a mild salsa verde. The red habanero is very spicy (Hot). The potatoes were very flavorful with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese and avocado. I really love the fruit with my dish. It compliments the meal not making it too heavy. Last but not least, the Cafe de Olla is amazing. If you are in the neighborhood or just want something different. This is the place to go. It does get pretty packed on the weekend and becoming more popular lately. I can't be mad because it's an amazing family restaurant Oaxacan style!

This is one of my MIL's go-to cafes in her neighborhood and she was quite excited to bring us here for a quick meal with family friends upon our arrival in LA. We arrived after the lunch rush so we were seated right away. I ordered ribeye tacos while the hubby ordered their ribeye eggs. Both plates were delicious. Coffee was lovely too. The staff were friendly and nice as well. Great casual spot in the area. Parking can be quite difficult though. Had to circle around the block more than once to find a spot.

Stopped here for breakfast and it was delicious! Ordered the Oaxacan breakfast and the churro waffles - so yummy! There is seating both inside and outdoors. Street parking is available. The staff was awesome and helpful explaining the various elements of each dish. Be sure to try the Cafe de Olla - very flavorful. Will definitely be back.
